Symmetrical Antenna

Some call it the wonder antenna, others even called it the holy grail. A symmetrical antenna is a real good performer. The one I built (2x19m) is mainly used on 30, 40 and 80m. It outperformed any antenne lowband antenna I used before (dipole, G5RV and the  Assymetrical antenna like FD4). It all started with reading reviews about the Palstar symmetrical antennatuner, BT1500A on eham.net. Users described it as the ideal multiband antennasystem. After buying the Palstar (I took me a couple of months to find a used one in the UK) I started to built the atenna. The legs are about 19m, the distance between the spreaders is 8cm. The spreaders are made of plastic coat hangers (3eur for 10 pieces), the wire is flexible 1,5mm2. The length of the actual feeder is about 20m, so I needed 60 spreaders. I found a unique system to breng the feedline into the house without drilling or using silicones to stick supports on the roof.
